He broke the 5F track record at Chantilly when winning the Gr.3 Prix Sigy, a stallion
making race previously won by SANDS OF MALI. ARIZONA BLAZE is sure to appeal
to breeders, his 17 runs and 14 wins and places at the highest level speaks for
itself, while his win in the Gr.2 Sapphire Stakes and Gr.1 Flying Five is a double most
recently completed by super sire HAVANA GREY.
SHOULDVEBEENARING remains the only son of HAVANA GREY standing
in Ireland and was very well received by breeders in 2025, covering just
under 130 mares. We are grateful to those breeders that supported him with
such a commercial book, represented by 10% dams of Stakes winners and
a further 25% dams of Stakes placed horses. This quality of mare provides
SHOULDVEBEENARING with an excellent opportunity to excel. We look forward
to welcoming his first foals during the spring and following them through to the
sales. SHOULDVEBEENARING, a precocious Stakes winner at 2yo, 3yo & 4yo
remains at €6,000 for 2026.
The INS roster is completed by NANDO PARRADO who finishes the 2025 season
with 37% winners to runners in second place in the Leading Sires Table behind his
stable mate LUCKY VEGA. NANDO PARRADO gets a small increase to €7,000
due largely to his excellent win/run ratio but also to the underlying quality of his
progeny, led by the valuable Ballyhane Stakes winner HOWD’YADOIT and Stakes
winner CHAIRMANFOURTIMES giving us plenty to be excited about in 2026.
As ever our priority is to provide breeders with the
opportunity to make a profit on their stock while
simultaneously producing high quality racehorses,
I believe that the five stallions we have briefly
mentioned allow that opportunity to exist.
