ITBA Yearling Sales Workshop
The ITBA recently hosted its Yearling Sales Workshop at the Irish National Stud. This
comprehensive event was designed to cover all key elements of an effective sales preparation
programme, making it an invaluable resource for breeders, consignors, and industry
professionals ahead of the 2025 Yearling Sales Season. The workshop included a practical
session on yearling conformation assessment, led by Irish National Stud CEO Cathal
Beale. Additional sessions covered essential topics such as sales prep nutrition, veterinary
considerations when selling, and corrective farriery.
